Fall Ushers in New Logo, New Visibility
In Colorado, fall is a time of change. The leaves transition from green to gold, a chill enters the nighttime air and children across the state head back to school.
At LiveWell Colorado, the fall ushers in change as well.
The most evident of these changes is our logo. After receiving input from our stakeholders, partners and our board of directors, the "color splash" logo was chosen to represent LiveWell Colorado as a sophisticated, energetic and approachable illustration of our identity. We are proud to introduce this logo, which we feel speaks to the diversity of our varied target audiences.
Another change you’ll see this fall is increased visibility in our community with the launch of our statewide multimedia branding campaign. Themed “Challenge,” the campaign encourages Coloradoans to challenge themselves and their friends and loved ones to make healthy choices in addition to challenging their communities to make healthy eating and active living options accessible to everyone. The goal is to introduce LiveWell Colorado, begin to establish our credibility and lay the foundation for social marketing efforts in 2010.
The branding campaign will include two television commercials running statewide and in movie theatres. Outdoor advertising will include billboards, appearing in Denver, Grand Junction, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs and Pueblo, as well as wallscapes in downtown Denver. In addition to traditional advertising, LiveWell Colorado will employ several guerilla marketing tactics in communities across the state. And to support the campaign, LiveWell Colorado.org will launch a new website section. To view campaign materials, please visit www.livewellcolorado.org/challenge after October 5.
I encourage each of you to challenge yourselves, your friends and family and your communities to Live Well!
