LiveWell Colorado is excited to be teaming up with Colorado Action for Healthy Kids Parent Network for our LiveWell Moms Lunch and Learn “Making Healthy Changes at School” this Thursday, April 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Denver Children’s Museum.

We still have a few spots available, so register today

As our very first LiveWell Moms event, we’ll feature an interactive panel of moms and school wellness experts taking on everything from promoting healthier food in the cafeteria to reducing junk food in the classroom and increasing physical activity throughout the day.

During the Lunch and Learn, parents will have the chance to:

  • Gain practical knowledge and inspiration to make healthy changes at your children’s school;
  • Share successes and challenges related to creating healthy school cultures;
  • Ask our panel of expert moms and school health advocates for advice; and,
  • Learn about school wellness tools and resources.

We will have free lunch and childcare, as space permits. For questions, contact Becky Grupe at beckygrupe@livewellcolorado.org or Carol Muller at cmuller@actionforhealthykids.org.

Come ready to get your questions answered and leave ready to make a difference!
