SYNOPSIS

Cornelius’ Land Development Code recognizes streets as the Town’s main public space and encourages a network of sidewalks and bicycle lanes for pedestrians and cyclists. Several design requirements support this development, specifying that all streets should be scaled to the pedestrian, be bordered on both sides by sidewalks, and be designed to minimize conflicts between autos and other modes.
