SYNOPSIS

In response to a growing community interest, adoption of Ordinance 1491 made several revisions and necessary clarifications in the City’s zoning code regarding community-based agriculture. Community gardens (under the category of urban gardens), farmers markets, and produce stands are now allowed in any zone district. City Council unanimously adopted the ordinance.
