Yield: 4 servings


  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 teacup water
  • ½ a small bunch of fresh mint, leaves finely chopped, stalks reserved
  • 2 pounds of any fruit combos, like:
  • Melon
  • Pineapple
  • Green seedless grapes
  • Lychees
  • Granny Smith apples
  • Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Black cherries


  1. Heat together the sugar and the water until dissolved – for a fuller flavor, add the mint stems to the hot syrup and leave to infuse until cool.
  2. When the syrup is cool, remove the stems and add the peeled and chopped fruit. Chill well and add the mint leaves.
